Dee "Dee" is a pretty
typical little (about 14H) bay Arabian mare - vocal and haughty.
: She is also a really nice ride. She stands well on the crossties,
doesn't mind the hose, sprays or clippers and is good for the farrier
and vet. She's polite and sweet to work around and loves attention
and being pampered. We've been told that she's a solid mount on
the trail and that she'll go through "anything". She's
an easy keeper, currently barefoot and out on pasture with another
mare and gelding. At this point in her life, we'd love to see her
in a home where she'll be able to hang out with another horse or
horses, be ridden lightly (she does have a bit of arthritis) and
loved a lot. Experience Level: Novice |

Noel ** UPDATED** "Noel" is an absolutely
gorgeous, sweet and "typey" bay Morgan mare. She's in
her late teens and is about 15.1 Hands. She's a beautiful mover
with lots of action. Although very rusty, she's sound and agile;
lunges well and appears to have been trained for riding at some
point. She would be an excellent pleasure prospect for someone looking
for a little project. She loves company and would make a nice companion
too. She is currently barefoot and up to date on everything. She
stands well for the farrier and is good with the vet. Experience Level: Advanced

Dove ** UPDATED**"Dove" is doing awesome!
She is a 20 something year old 15H dark dapple bay Morgan mare.
She has blossomed into a super sweet and delightful mare and has
learned how to be a horse!! While she still loves her stall, and
is always happy to come in, she has been going out in the paddock
with two other mares all day, napping in the sun and munching hay
or grass. She's very submissive in the herd and would make a fabulous,
unobtrusive, companion horse. She loves attention and really enjoys
being brushed and fussed over. A true pleasure to work around and
a very polite and quiet mount; she is very willing and eager to
please. We continue to use joint supplements (MSM) and bute (as
needed) for intermittent soreness, but have been doing a little
light riding (walk/trot) which she tolerates quite well and really
seems to enjoy. With her sweet and gentle nature, she'd be suitable
for beginner riders and would probably love giving pony rides to
kids. She's up to date on vaccinations, feet and teeth and ready
to go to a loving home. She is in foster care but we'd be happy
to show her by appointment. Experience Level: Novice

Boots ** UPDATED**"Boots" is the perfect
lawn ornament and companion pony! He's a 23+/- year old 13.2H sorrel
Cob Cross gelding who is cute as a button and a super easy keeper.
While companionship would be nice, he was gelded late in life and
is not unhappy alone or with a goat friend. An old injury has rendered
him unsound for any serious riding but he may be able to pull a
small cart or do light pony rides with a little training. Don't
waste time and money mowing this summer - he'd be happy to take
care of the grass for you for just a good back scratch and a little
love. He will need someone with a bit of horse experience and is
not best suited for very small children. Experience Level: Novice

Bubbles ** UPDATED** "Bubbles" is an adorable
4-5 year old Nubian doe (female). She came in as a stray and is
very shy and fearful of people. We are working on her socialization
and she is doing well with her leash training. She is very intrigued
by the horses and would probably make a good companion with a little
patience. She is horned but is not nasty at all is generally more
interested in trying to get away than pick a fight. She gave birth
to twins in late may (see our Birth Announcement on the Home Page)
and will be held until they are weaned (early August). She is a
flight risk at this point and will require very secure housing/fencing.
We would be willing to place the entire "Family" in an
experienced goat loving home. Experience Level: Experienced |

Bazooka Joe & Robin "Bazooka Joe" &
"Robin" are simply the cutest male and female baby Nubian
mix kids on the planet! They are several weeks old and are really
starting to frolic, romp and play ~ we could sit and watch them
for hours! We are currently accepting applications for them although
they will not be able to go to their new home(s) until they are
weaned in early August. We would love to place them together but
are willing to split them up for the right situation. They have
been disbudded and "Bazooka Joe" will be neutered prior
to placement. These guys won't last long! Experience Level: Novice |
