Missing Dog - Please Help Re-unite with Owner

Stratham NH – On January 28th, 2007 a Shetland Sheepdog escaped from its owner in the Newmarket, NH area. The dog was here on a visit from Pennsylvania when it ran away from its owner in the Newmarket neighborhood behind Cherry Hill Apartments on Bennett Way,

Smokey, as the dog is known, is a female Shetland Sheep Dog (Sheltie), blue merle in color (gray and white with some tan). She is wearing a collar with an ID tag bearing a Pennsylvania address and rabies tag and was last sighted in the Newfields and Stratham areas.

The Field Services Division of the NHSPCA requests that anyone seeing Smokey please not chase the dog but rather call them immediately at (603) 772-2921 ext. 111 or 603-674-9836 so that Smokey can be captured and safely returned to her owner.

The Adoption Center is open from 11 am – 4pm on Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 11 am – 7pm on Tuesday and Thursday, and closed on Wednesday.
