Stratham, NH -
The New Hampshire SPCA has teamed up with Route 1 Fun in Kittery, ME for the 2nd Annual Putting for Paws Mini Golf Tournament. The event will be held on Friday, June 24, 2005 from 3:00 PM-6:00 PM at Route 1 Fun located one mile north of the outlet malls in Kittery, ME.

Last year's Putting for Paws fundraising event was held in honor of owner Brad Dudley's beloved dog, Tyler, who had recently lost his life to cancer. This year's tournament will be played in honor of Crosby, Tyler's best friend who lost his life to kidney failure. All proceeds from the event will be donated to benefit the animals at the New Hampshire SPCA in Stratham, NH. Last year's tournament raised nearly $3,000 for the animals.

The fun filled event will feature a mini golf tournament, all you can eat pizza buffet, batting cages, raffle prizes and NHSPCA staff, volunteers and animals. There will be a doggie break area, and dogs are welcome on the golf course as long as they are on a leash. Bring a team of up to 6 people or come and join a team. Prizes will be awarded between 5:00 PM-6:00 PM. A $10 donation is requested per person. For more information about the event please contact Brad Dudley at (207) 439-PLAY.

The New Hampshire SPCA is a community resource center which provides animal adoption, education, investigation and sheltering services in a professional and compassionate way. The Adoption Center is open from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday and closed on Wednesday.
