Green-Eyed
Cats Bring The Luck of the Irish
To celebrate St. Patrick's Day, the NHSPCA and a local artist entice
adopters to take home a new feline friend today by offering a chance
to find your 'pet o gold' and win some nice "green bling"
too!
For the next 3 weeks, from Friday, March 10th through Thursday,
March 31st, everyone who adopts a cat from the NHSPCA in Stratham,
NH will get a chance to win a beautiful Jade cat necklace. Two necklaces
have been donated to the "kitty cause" so there will be
2 chances to win with the first drawing being held on St. Patty's
Day. The second drawing will be held after the last cat is adopted
on March 31st.
Local artist Brenda Manix, of BM Appraisal & Jewelry Design,
is an avid animal enthusiast and a long-time supporter of the NHSPCA.
Manix is a frequent donor to the NHSPCA's Annual Auction for the
Animals and, being a cat lover in particular, has made this lucky
cat promotion something to meow about!
The New Hampshire SPCA is a community resource center which provides
animal adoption, education, investigation and sheltering services
in a professional and compassionate way. The Adoption Center is
open from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday,
11 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday and closed on Wednesday.
