The Portsmouth Pearl and DRAMEDY Productions present the interactive murder mystery, "The Tragedy of Broadway" to benefit the homeless animals of the New Hampshire SPCA. The benefit will have all the glitz and glamour of NYC's cabaret. "Chez SPCA" for what promises to be a hilarious musical evening of mystery and romance accompanied by a Broadway Songbook sung by a talented cast of characters, a delicious dessert buffet, drinks and dancing.

Audience members will rise to their feet as cabaret diva, "Fiona Feline", sings her songs, accompanied by "Johnny Bowwow" who speaks through his mewsical fingers… not knowing that just paws away lurks the notorious stray slayer known only as "Pooch". So many suspects to watch out for- such as the cabaret owner, "Kat Calico", the devious diva wanna-be, "Kitten Kaboodle" and her un-stoppable stage mother, "Mary Mare". The slimy snake of a Producer, Hare Ball, who has just 2 nights to save "Chez SPCA" from closing, will stop at nothing to keep himself out of the dog house. Enter the bumbling bloodhound, "Inspector Clawseau" who, with the audience's help, puts the pieces of this cabaret caper together. The evening ends with some lucky audience member winning the grand prize for solving the "Tragedy of Broadway".

"The Tragedy of Broadway" will play for 2 nights only, Friday and Saturday, May 15th and 16th beginning at 8:00pm and will feature a professional cast of Seacoast favorite performers accompanied by talented pianist, John Heath of Heath's Piano Studio. The $20.00 per ticket price includes the show, dancing and a delicious dessert buffet. The "Water Dish" cash bar will be available to lap your favorite beverages of choice. There will also be several raffle items available for your puuurrusal and to bid on.
