Learn to partner
with your dog in an around the health care environment and specialized
equipment. You will learn how to handle your individual dog in
challenging situations. Testing and certification by Therapy
Dogs International standards will commence on the second day,
early afternoon.
Previous Canine Good Citizenship Certification recommended.
Well behaved, prepared
dogs are welcome. Please bring leash, bed and clean up materials
for your dog.

With Dangerous Dogs:

handle, transport and safely work with dangerous dogs or dogs
that exhibit the potential for dangerous behavior. Learn training
methods for dogs that are simply fearful and learn the difference

Evaluations
Once you have evaluated
a dog what does it mean? Identifying stressors, stress mapping
your kennel and the importance of evaluation of dogs and puppies
are all covered in this workshop. Learn how to become a better
observer of behavior and how you can reshape problem behaviors
with the right environment. The desired outcome is better
matches, better adoptions and fewer returns! This seminar
includes an overview of available testing programs strengths
and weaknesses. |
