We want to celebrate the spookiest and most fun time of year with you and your pets! Join the NHSPCA for our first ever Halloween costume Paw-rade around our beautifully expanded campus! Whether you are a spectator or a participant…it will be a fa-boooo-lous good time for all (children, pets, and beyond).   

Children, dogs, and adults are encouraged to dress up and parade along our ring trail for our costume contest! Treats (for humans and dogs) will be served along the way, you’ll have a chance to meet some of our adoptable animals, and prizes will be offered for contest winners! If your child will be trick-or-treating, make sure you bring a bag or container to hold the treats in!

A $5 registration fee is required per family entering the parade. 

All proceeds go to the NHSPCA and the animals in our care. 

When: Saturday October 29, 2022 
3:30-4:30 pm (weather permitting)
Check-in for this event will open at 3 pm, and the parade will begin promptly at 3:45! Costume contest winners will be announced at 4:15, after which we’ll wrap up the fun with some tasty fall treats!  Note: If you are interested in visiting the Adoption Center – please come early as we close at 4 pm and will not be open after the parade.

Who: Anyone!  
Dogs must always be leashed and must be safe around other animals and individuals. If you think your dog might be easily spooked or provoked by someone in a costume, loud noises, or other animals, we kindly ask you to leave them home.
