SUMMARY:Alzheimer's Café at the NHSPCA
DESCRIPTION:An Alzheimer’s Café offers a community setting where people living with Alzheimer’s disease\, dementia or other memory issues and their caregivers gather\, socialize and enjoy conversation. Our location offers the fun and unique opportunity to see some of our resident animals and have possible visits from owned or adoptable animals as well. This is a fun social event that will take place on the second Thursday of each month between 12:30pm and 2:00pm in our Training Room on the first floor of the Learning Center. Space is limited and groups should contact us before planning to attend. There is no fee to attend. \nMasks are optional. If someone in your party is feeling unwell\, we kindly request that you stay home and plan to come for the next Café. This helps protect the vulnerable population that visit our Café as well as our staff and volunteers. \nSpace is limited.Questions – please email Jill Sloan at jsloan@nhspca.org \nWaiver: I recognize that in conjunction with my attendance at the New Hampshire Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NHSPCA)\, I and members of my party will be in contact with and may be allowed to hold and pet animals.
