Children in grades 1-8 who are reading at any level are invited to join us at the NHSPCA to read to a small animal from the Humane Education classroom. As the adoption center re-opens in the coming weeks, opportunities to read to cats, other small adoptable animals, and/or friendly dogs will also be available. This program helps children improve their reading skills in a comfortable and relaxed environment while also helping the animals by providing socialization and human interaction. Reading sessions last 30 minutes and take place the first and third Wednesdays of each month between 4 pm and 6 pm. 

Cost: $10 per session
