Campers participating in our Winter Vacation Camp will meet from 9 am to 3 pm. While campers ages 7 – 8 can register for Tuesday only, campers ages 9 – 12 can sign up for Wednesday, Thursday, or both! Campers will spend time with the ambassador animals in our Humane Education classroom and learn about the NHSPCA and the way our team helps animals in need, while also having time for animal-themed games and crafts!
We strive to provide a unique and memorable experience for our campers, and this is also a wonderful way to support the life-saving efforts of the NHSPCA while helping a young animal lover learn about being a responsible pet owner.
The activities planned for each day of camp are developmentally appropriate for the assigned age-ranges. While we understand that some children may be more mature than others, we ask that you kindly register your child for the appropriate age group.
At the NHSPCA, we provide care for animals with a wide variety of personalities, behavioral and medical needs. Although campers will see animals during their program, we cannot promise a certain amount of direct animal contact. The only animals that we can ensure the campers will spend time with are the ambassador animals in our classroom.
**If there is inclement weather and the need to cancel during a purchased camp day, there will be a make-up day on Friday, December 30.
COST: $60 per day
Spacing is limited to twelve campers each day so be sure to register soon!
* We welcome campers of all backgrounds and ability levels. Please note, if your child requires 1:1 support while at school, it is the parent’s responsibility to make sure that a trained adult can attend camp with your child. It is also the parent’s responsibility to secure a background check for the attending adult prior to the start of camp. Without a cleared background check, the child and adult will not be able to participate.
For safety reasons, please keep in mind that campers are expected to have calm bodies and quiet voices in the classroom and throughout our facility. Campers must also be kind and respectful to one another and must follow all directions given by NHSPCA staff. Any camper engaging in unsafe behavior may be asked to leave camp and a refund will not be provided.
Booking and Refund Policy
Spaces fill up quickly, so register early! It is not the NHSPCA’s policy to give refunds for cancellations. In the case of inclement weather, we will make all attempts to reschedule or provide a credit to use toward future programming. Once you have submitted the registration form, a member of our staff will connect to confirm your registration and provide additional information.
