The Humane Education Department at the NHSPCA runs many educational and fun camp programs throughout the year including summer and school vacation camps. Our next one will be happening during the upcoming Holiday School Vacation on Monday, Thursday and Friday, December 23, 26, 27. The time is from 9am to 3pm. Campers may attend just one, two or all three days!

If you are a grandparent, aunt or uncle, or parent to a young animal lover on your Christmas or Hannukah list, giving a gift of the Holiday Vacation Camp is sure to be a winner! Children ages 6 to 12 will enjoy learning about the pets in the Humane Education classroom as well as the animals in the Adoption Center. There will be lots of hands-on time with the animals and also games, crafts and activities- all with an animal theme!

So if the children in your life have too much “stuff” or spend way too much time looking at a screen, consider this as an alternative to a more traditional gift this holiday season. We offer a  unique and memorable experience for our campers! And this is also a wonderful way to support the life-saving efforts of the NHSPCA while helping a young animal lover to learn about being a responsible pet owner.

Signups can be found here on our website here. If you sign up a child for camp, be sure to tell us if it’s a gift- we don’t want to spoil any surprises!
