The New Hampshire SPCA is here for animals that have nowhere else to go. They arrive at our shelter for a variety of reasons, but they’re all looking for the same things: love, care, safety and a family of their own.

Bringing an animal into your life is a big decision, and when you adopt, you’re giving a homeless pet the second chance it deserves — and freeing up shelter resources to help other pets in need.

It is our goal to find permanent, loving and responsible homes for our animals, and make them a match that will last a lifetime. When you visit our Adoption Center, our knowledgeable staff will be happy to answer any questions and help you choose the right pet for your family.

COVID-19 update: In response to Governor Sununu’s stay- at- home order, we will remain closed to the public until further notice.  All adoption services are suspended at this time. The New Hampshire SPCA is considered an essential business as an organization with workers responsible for the care and custody of animals, pets and livestock.  Please know that our staff will continue to care for the animals and remain ready and able to be their safety net. Thank you for your support.

To inquire about virtual adoption or emergency surrender, please email [email protected].  We will be unable to respond to voicemails at this time.
