We offer many unique, educational, and fun opportunities for kids to interact with animals and learn compassion and kindness for all living things. From afterschool clubs to camps and birthday parties, there is something for every child!
Birthday PartiesMake it a day to remember! When you have a birthday party with us, you get to meet the animals in our Humane Education classroom, tour our Adoption Center, farm/barn areas, and/or our newly expanded campus, participate in animal-themed activities, and invite friends to share your child’s love for animals!
Volunteer Opportunities ages 12-15Under staff supervision, teens ages 12-15 in our Junior Volunteer program will help care for animals at the NHSPCA by helping with feeding, cleaning, enrichment activities, and more.
Reading with the animals is open to everyone 5 years and older.
Practice reading in a safe space. Increase reading proficiency and confidence! Unwind from a busy day and help socialize our shelter animals.
We’d like to welcome families with children ages 2-5 to visit our Humane Education classroom for story time with our classroom animals Tuesdays and Thursday 10:45 -11:15! Walk-in’s welcome however, space is limited.
The NHSPCA has allied with schools all across the NH Seacoast and beyond for many years. This is a great way for children to learn all about the agency and the work we do, as well as getting to meet some of our ambassador animals!
