“My passion for the NHSPCA started almost two decades ago and grew steadily day by day.  I have been a lifelong animal lover and when the opportunity to volunteer at the NHSPCA presented itself I embraced it.  The need to rescue and find permanent homes for unwanted, abused, neglected, or abandoned animals has grown so much since I started as a volunteer.  Being able to work behind the scenes and to see first-hand the tireless effort by staff and volunteers alike to make the lives of these precious lovable animals count and be a part of a loving home where they are nurtured and loved is what fuels my passion.  To quote a saying often associated with the NHSPCA keeps my passion everlasting… “to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived – that is to have succeeded.

I support this effort  because I believe our community will become such a better place; knowing that thousands of wonderful animals will have another chance at life and love.  Animals inspire the best in people and the human animal bond nourishes the heart and soul of mankind.  Our community will be so proud of the NHSPCA and its leadership role in animal welfare.  Adapting and embracing a new era in the ever growing need to save as many lives as possible and to ensure the existence of the NHSPCA for the future. This is a challenge that can and will be met by this incredible agency, as the past has proven for over one hundred and forty seven years.”
