Flo is a flashy 19 year old 13.1 hand Welsh pony mare looking for a soft landing. When Flo first arrived at the shelter, she was on and off colicky. We have been keeping a very close eye on her and it seems that she is out of the woods! Flo has really flourished and has pep in her step again! Flo has been there and done that. She is incredibly well-mannered and is easy to work with. Flo is also very good with kids, we even used her for our farm camp! She loves to be pampered. She is very kind and gentle. Flo stands still to be groomed, have her feet done and vaccinated. We were told that Flo has extensive driving experience and even traveled to compete. We have not driven her while she has been with us. We have ridden her lightly under saddle with no issues. She loves to be turned out with her herd mate and just being a horse. Flo is great for the vet and farrier. She is up to date on her vaccines, farrier work and dental float. If you are interested in Flo, please email mmurch@nhspca.org.
