American Pit Bull  | Female  | 6

Hot Dog (approximately 44 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. Hot Dog is EXTREMELY charming - she is very people friendly and her dream would be to hang out with her human friends as often as possible. Hot Dog was at her Texas shelter for 280 days before her transfer to New Hampshire! Yes, you read that right - TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY DAYS. That is far too long for such a sweet girl to be without a home. Hot Dog is extremely resilient - she handled the 2 day drive to New Hampshire like a champion and was unfazed by her first exposure to snow. She LOVES squeaky toys and will happily entertain herself by tearing up a good plush toy. Hot Dog participated in doggie play groups at her previous shelter and she was great with the other dogs. If you can give this glorious girl the loving home that she has been waiting SO LONG for, please stop by the Adoption Center's OPEN HOURS EVERY DAY EXCEPT WEDNESDAY from 11am to 4pm, or contact the NHSPCA at info@nhspca.org
