Class Description: It’s time for school for you and your pup!  This introductory class is for puppies 4-6 months to help them and you coast through the challenges of puppyhood. *Please note that Puppies under the age of 17 weeks must take Puppy Pre-school before taking Puppy 101*  In addition to learning how to effectively house train your pup, how to prevent jumping and biting and understanding proper puppy socialization you will learn all the basic manners such as sit, down, come, stay, leave it, drop it and how to walk properly on leash.  This class is all taught using positive reinforcement techniques which is fun for you and the whole family!

Special Notes: This class is not for aggressive or reactive dogs. If your dog exhibits this type of behavior please see our Reactive Dog class or email behavior@nhspca.org for assistance.

Vaccinations: Please email your dog’s vaccination records prior to the first class to vaccines@nhspca.org.  All pets must be current on core vaccinations. Vaccines for canine parvovirus, distemper, canine hepatitis and rabies are considered core vaccines. Please speak with your veterinarian about the appropriateness of non-core vaccines.  These include vaccines against Bordetella and Lepto.
