Location: New Hampshire SPCA – Training room

Class Description: This class is designed specifically for puppies under 1 year with a careful approach to their growing bodies and their physical limitations. In this class there will be some emphasis on basic commands. We will be doing cone work, surface training and plank work. Baby tires and scaled down equip will be used. We will be working on sits, stays, making turns, doing balance work and rear end awareness. We will work on sends, contact work and some needed flat work. Staying focused on these baby tasks is the goal and of course having fun with this sport and preparing your puppy for Agility.

Special Notes: This class is not for aggressive or reactive dogs. If your dog exhibits this type of behavior please see our Reactive Dog class or email behavior@nhspca.org for assistance.

Vaccinations: Please email your dog’s vaccination records prior to the first class to vaccines@nhspca.org.  All pets must be current on core vaccinations. Vaccines for canine parvovirus, distemper, canine hepatitis and rabies are considered core vaccines. Please speak with your veterinarian about the appropriateness of non-core vaccines.  These include vaccines against Bordetella and Lepto.
