Join with thousands of your neighbors from across the Granite State for 24 hours of giving to the organizations that work to make our state a better, more compassionate, place to live!
This year for NH Gives, we hope you’ll join us by making a donation in support of New Hampshire animals and our essential staff that has been caring for them throughout the pandemic.
Despite a global pandemic and major construction project, we’ve never stopped taking in animals that need help or providing emergency services to local animals and families in need. Our essential staff works every single day to care for innocent animals. We provide pet food and emergency pet boarding to families that are struggling financially. We help horse owners by offering hay, grain vouchers and medical care. Just a few weeks ago, we were called to assist in rescuing 36 sick rabbits from a local home.
It doesn’t stop, so neither can we.
As more and more of our neighbors face uncertain economic times, we anticipate a sharp increase in surrendered animals in the next few months. Together we can ensure they have a safe place to turn.

For NH Gives 2021, a $300,000 site-wide match – made possible by the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation will be available. These funds will be distributed during specific times throughout the 24 hours. From the beginning of that time frame until the funds are exhausted, each online donation will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $250. Please make your gift as early as possible to ensure the animals at our shelter receive the matching funds.
