Training Classes for Dogs
Let’s learn together!
Behavior challenges are one of the most common reasons dogs are surrendered. We believe with the right guidance and training, families and their dogs can learn to thrive together. Whether you’re working on jumping, chewing, leash manners, recall, socialization or overall good behavior, we’re here to help!
Not sure which training class is right for you? Click the chart to see the path we’d recommend for some of our core classes!
Classes are updated regularly so check back frequently. For immediate assistance, scroll to book a Private Consult or email behavior@nhspca.org.
Meet our team: find the perfect fit for you and your dog
Finding the right dog trainer isn’t just about convenience, it directly impacts your dog’s behavior, confidence, and overall well-being. Your trainer should understand your goals, communicate clearly, and use methods you’re comfortable with. We’d love for you to meet our incredible team and learn about their backgrounds and methods.
Some important notes:
- Classes are evaluated one week before the start date. If enrollment is low, a class or workshop may be canceled. Please register at least one week in advance to help avoid cancellations.
- We recognize the benefit for family members to take part in training. To ensure a safe and positive learning environment, each registrant may bring one (1) additional guest. Children must be age 10 or older, remain seated unless working with their own dog, and avoid disrupting the class.
- Registration information: when signing up for a class the “participant” is your dog (the human companion’s information will be under “Client”)
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. We hope to see you and your dog in a class soon!
