We will discuss the dog’s path, angles to jumps and obstacles. Teams will start to work on starts, targeting, and some verbal commands. More challenging turns and crosses will be introduced. Successful communication will be achieved using positive reinforcement, reward based training. Competition Agility ventures into longer sequences and increased difficulty with angles while preparing teams for competition or if you just love this sport and want to improve. Teams will continue to work on helping the dog and handler stay on the path. The handlers will continue to learn to give timely cues and make use of the dogs natural athletic abilities. Challenging turns, crosses and adding distance will be reinforced. Successful communication will be achieved using positive reinforcement, reward based training. This class will be held outdoors when possible.
