What if we told you we’ve got a girl who checks off all those boxes (and more)?

Darling, 5, is a tenderhearted girl who loves big. Ask her for a drop of love and she’ll give you the ocean. She’s attentive, affectionate, and a Certified Snuggle Bug. She genuinely appreciates every opportunity to meet new friends (especially if the date includes a walk through the woods or a romp in the pen) and is quick to show off how polite she is.

Whoever is lucky enough to adopt her will quickly realize that she’s the kind of dog that will be talked about for decades. She’s a soul dog just waiting to be discovered.

This black brindle beauty was transported to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. Prior to hopping on the van and making the 30-hour trip to Stratham, Darling was an remarkable mama to what we can only imagine to be the most beautiful litter of puppies ever. Her pups have all gone on to find their forever families, and we’d love for Darling to finally get her chance to be the center of someone’s universe. She deserves to learn what it feels like to be cared for.

Our Adoption Center is only open for one more hour today, on #NationalRescueDogDay, but the good news is… every day is National Rescue Dog Day at the New Hampshire SPCA!
