Greta is a gentle, calm soul who’s hoping to find stability and love after a tough chapter in her life. Recently, a Good Samaritan found her tied to a pole in a nearby town, with a heartbreaking sign that read, ‘My owner is no longer able to care for me. Please help!’ At 13 years old, confused and scared, Greta now finds herself homeless and waiting for a fresh start.
This curious, sweet beagle mix loves nothing more than taking scenic walks at her own pace, stopping to investigate every intriguing scent her sniffer picks up. While she leans a bit more on the independent side, Greta still enjoys affection from her humans now and then. She’s happiest when simply being near her people, and wherever you are at home, you can bet she’ll be close by.
Greta is ready to share her heart with a forever family. Her journey has shaped her into the wonderful dog she is today. She’s lived with other dogs and even cats before, though a slow introduction is always best. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to brighten your days, please consider giving this girl the loving home she deserves in her golden years
