This handsome goofball hasn’t found his pot of gold yet, but earlier today, he found a tennis ball… and he’s pretty convinced they’re the same thing.

St. Patrick is a 5-year-old mixed breed who’s still learning how to navigate all the excitement the world has to offer. Right now, his excitement presents in the form of big zoomies, high jumps, and even some enthusiastic mouthing. Beneath that bouncy exterior is a trainable boy just begging to be given the chance to shine.

We are seeking a dog-savvy home with a family familiar with high-energy breeds. To be fully transparent, he will require more than your average dog might—including training, plenty of exercise, and a variety enrichment opportunities. He would love a family that will take him for walks in the woods, sign him up for agility or nosework classes, and keep his mind busy with things like treat puzzles and stuffed Kongs.

Most importantly, he’d love a family that understands that although he’s a bit of a project, he has a ton of promise.

St. Patrick has experience with other dogs and is found to do best with those who love a rough-and-tumble playstyle. His current BFF is 8-month-old Davi, who is also available for adoption.

If you’re up to the challenge of helping a dog who’s starting from scratch build a strong foundation, please come meet St. Patrick! He’ll gladly take you for a tour of our campus, which will include a visit to our fenced-in pen… where he will very enthusiastically ask for you to throw a ball.

And then throw it again….
And then again…
Like, forever and ever OR until you call it quits.

Better start stretching now! This guy’s got stamina—and he’s got the charisma to match.

Our Adoption Center is open from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed) and we’re located at 104 Portsmouth Avenue in Stratham, NH. We’d love to see you soon!
