Say hello to Rain, a 6-year-old tabby who is, without question, one of the sweetest cats you’ll ever have the pleasure of meeting. She is a full-on people cat, not the “I’ll tolerate you from across the room” type, but the “I want to be wherever you are, always” type. Pets? She’s obsessed. Hanging out on the couch while you watch TV? Absolutely. Being your new best friend? She’s been preparing for this her whole life.

She’s lived with other cats before and did just fine, so if you’ve already got a feline resident at home, Rain might be a great match. She hasn’t had experience with dogs, so we’d want to make sure any introduction is taken slow and easy.

Rain is more of a lover than a player, but every now and then she’ll surprise you; catch her with a string toy and she will bat that thing around like she means it!

Here’s a little background on this brave girl: Rain recently had surgery to remove bladder stones and handled it like an absolute champ. She’s on the mend and doing really well! Moving forward, she’ll need a prescription urinary diet to help manage her condition long-term and keep those pesky stones from coming back.

Rain has been through a lot. She deserves someone who’s ready to give her everything, and she will pay you back in purrs (and biscuits) every single day. Could that someone be you?

Come visit her during our adoption centers’ open hours Thurs-Tues from 11 am – 4pm. (Closed Wednesdays). Questions? Reach out to us at info@nhspca.org or call 603-772-2921 x 110.
