Do you have a soft spot for a mini with special medical needs? Meet Little Boy Blue! He is an 8 year old miniature horse gelding and just as sweet as can be! He does tend to get picked on by those with bigger personalities than him so he needs a quiet place with a mellow friend or two that will be by his side. What are his medical needs you ask? Well like a lot of minis he has some trouble regulating his insulin and he has laminitis. We have him controlled right now with diet and a couple of medications. One major requirement is that he can not be on grass....at all. He is currently eating Safe Starch. He will will need additional blood work to monitor his condition as well.
