Meet Smokey! Smokey is a 10-year-old senior lady who came to us after the loss of her owner. Given that she is grieving her past life, this has been a big transition for her. Smokey has an independent personality and prefers affection on her own terms. She's not one to demand constant attention, but when she's in the mood, she'll come to you for gentle pets and quiet companionship. She would do best in a calm, low-traffic home where her independence is respected and she can settle in at her own pace. Once she feels comfortable, Smokey offers a steady, peaceful presence that only a senior cat can bring. If you're looking for a self-sufficient companion and want to give a deserving senior a second chance, Smokey may be the perfect match. Stop by the Adoption Center during open hours 11am-4pm Thursday-Tuesday (closed Wednesdays).
