Labrador Retriever | Male | 1
O'Brian (approximately 61 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. He was lucky enough to spend time in a Southern foster home where he absolutely charmed his foster parents with his good looks and outgoing personality. O'Brian is extremely easy to love - he adores human attention and is always thrilled when he gets to participate in activities with his people. Whether it's cuddling, playing, jogging, or just taking a walk, O'Brian wants to do it with you. He is also very attentive to training, learning the commands "sit," "stay," and "down" while in foster. O'Brian is still a "teenager" at just over a year old, and he is still working on typical teenage dog behaviors like jumping up to greet people, counter surfing when unsupervised, and mild mouthiness when playing. So he's probably not a great match for small children, but he's a fantastic match for anyone looking for a dog with an unbridled enthusiasm for life, LOL! O'Brian was fostered with other dogs of all sizes and got along with them all; his play style is rough & rowdy, filled with full-body wrestling, chasing, and high energy engagement. Dogs that enjoy this type of play have a fantastic time with O'Brian! And humans who enjoy a cuddly yet active dog will have a fantastic time with him too - come meet O'Brian today!
