Cassie was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Louisiana. This beautiful house panther is a sweet, mild-mannered girl who loves her humans. She was with our rescue partners for almost a year, but we believe her physical condition had something to do with that. To look at her now you'd never know it, but when Cassie was rescued by our partners, it was clear that she had been terribly neglected by her previous people. Despite how humans have failed her in the past, Cassie still adores people and wants to be around them. From the moment she was rescued, Cassie craved human affection and a comfy place to lounge. She befriends certain cats, but she can get a bit testy with others (nothing drastic). Throughout the months, Cassie's beautiful, shiny coat has come in and she has become fonder of playtime. She is going to be a delightful companion for some lucky person or family!
