At 15 years old, Nikki finds herself facing the world alone. Once a beloved companion, she was surrendered to us after her family experienced an unexpected life change—one that left Nikki without the comfort of the only home she’d ever known.
She spends most of her time nestled deep in her hidey box, anxious in her unfamiliar surroundings. Her previous family remembers a time when Nikki was warm, affectionate, and always close by. But one day, something changed. She withdrew, retreating under the bed, hesitant to come out. They never understood why—and neither do we. But we do know this: behind those timid eyes is a cat who has known love, and maybe, with the right person, she can feel it again.
Nikki may never be the cat who greets you at the door or curls up in your lap—but who knows, maybe she will. And even if she doesn’t, she still deserves a soft place to land. A peaceful home. A cozy corner where she can feel safe, with someone nearby who understands that love can be quiet, too.
Could you be the one to show Nikki the love she deserves?
