Meet Ophelia, a sweet three-year-old rabbit.

Unfortunately, she hasn’t had much stability in her life and has moved homes several times. Ophelia recently came into our care when her owner received her from a friend of a friend but sadly couldn’t keep her permanently because the landlord wouldn’t allow pets.

Ophelia had been previously housed in an outdoor hutch and is relatively new to the house rabbit life. She loves to hop around her surroundings and is always curious about what’s around the next corner. She has had limited human interaction in the past and is still learning that people aren’t so scary. Ophelia, being the curious girl that she is, will hop over to anyone approaching her pen and will even take veggies from your hand! However, she’s not quite comfortable with being pet or picked up just yet. This sweet girl just needs a bit more time and patience as she settles into her new home.

Interested in giving Ophelia a loving home? Come meet her during our Adoption Center’s open hours from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesday (closed) or email us at info@nhspca.org.

This adoptable pet feature is brought to you by our generous Furball Friend Sponsor, Bridges Bros. Movers. Join us for Paws Walk, Sunday, June 2nd at Stratham Hill Park and help save more animals like Ophelia!
