We’ve got just the guy for you!

Meet Sammy, a 1-year-old, 69-pound Shepherd mix who just arrived in New Hampshire from the Lone Star State. He’s only been here for a few days, and like many of us, he’s already over all this rain! Sammy would much rather be outside, chasing tennis balls and soaking up the sunshine.

This playful boy has more than enough energy to spare and would thrive in an active home where he can run, romp, and explore to his heart’s content. But as much as he loves to play, Sammy might love people even more. He seeks out human attention at every opportunity and absolutely lives for full-body pets and belly rubs. He’ll even nudge your hand to make sure you get the message!

Sammy did great in the doggie playgroups at the Texas shelter and enjoys the company of other dogs. He really is the full package: friendly, fun-loving, and full of heart.
