We are thrilled to announce our first ever Future Vets Camp!  

During this two day camp, children will dive in to the exciting field of veterinary medicine. Campers will tour our new state of the art clinic, speak with veterinary professionals, learn specific medical skills and practice how to care for sick and injured animals. We will also visit shelter animals, interact with our classroom ambassador animals, play fun games, and make cool crafts! Campers will leave Future Vets Camp with new knowledge to help their pets and other animals! 

This camp is 2 days long and open to children ages 8-12. 

Camp hours are 9:00am-3:00pm 

• Session 1: Feb 26-27  9am-3pm
• Session 2: Feb 28-29  9am-3pm 

Friday March 1st will be a make-up day in the event of a snow day. 

Important information before registering:

At the NHSPCA, we provide care for animals with a wide variety of personalities, behavioral and medical needs. Although campers will see animals during their program, we cannot promise a certain amount of direct animal contact.

We welcome campers of all backgrounds and ability levels. We’d like to remind families that campers will be visiting a working animal shelter and are expected to follow directions and have calm bodies and quiet voices when around animals. Any campers engaging in unsafe or disruptive behaviors toward peers, staff, or the animals in our care may be dismissed from camp with no refund provided.

In addition to our required closed toe footwear, we highly recommend your child bring a pair of boots to wear while engaging in farm activities throughout the week.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: There is a $25.00 service fee for registration cancellation, if you cancel more than 7 days from the start of your child’s scheduled week of camp. If you must cancel less than 7 days prior to the start of camp, all fees are non-refundable and will result in a donation of the total fee to the NHSPCA.  

Waiver:  I recognize that in conjunction with my child’s attendance at the New Hampshire Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NHSPCA), my child will be in contact with and may be allowed to interact with a variety of animals. I understand that despite all precautions made, there is a chance that my child may contract a disease or illness by handling the animals. I further understand that there is a chance that my child may sustain a scratch or bite while handling animals. I understand that the above is illustrative of the types of risks involved in participating in programs at the NHSPCA but is in no way a complete list of possible risks. By checking the YES box when registering, I do hereby absolutely and unconditionally release and discharge the NHSPCA, including its employees, successors, assigns, directors, officers, and agents from and against any and all claims, obligations and liabilities of any nature relating to or arising out of my child’s participation with the NHSPCA camp program. I certify that I am the registered child’s legal parent or legal guardian.   

Photo Release: I authorize the NHSPCA to use photos of my child engaging in program activities for media and marketing purposes.
