Class Description: This class introduces your dog to agility obstacles at a Novice level using positive reinforcement, reward-based training. Students learn some basic handling skills enabling them to boost their dog’s attention and confidence while working as a team. If you think your dog would enjoy flying through a tunnel, walking over ramps, jumping hurdles, scrambling over an A Frame or weaving through poles then Agility is for you! Emphasis is on having fun together and developing a working relationship for a strong foundation.
Special Notes: This class is not for aggressive or reactive dogs. If your dog exhibits this type of behavior please see our Reactive Dog class or email [email protected] for assistance.
Vaccinations: Please email your dog’s vaccination records prior to the first class to [email protected]. All pets must be current on core vaccinations. Vaccines for canine parvovirus, distemper, canine hepatitis and rabies are considered core vaccines. Please speak with your veterinarian about the appropriateness of non-core vaccines. These include vaccines against Bordetella and Lepto.
