A Day of Art, Animals & Giving Back
Join us for Pastures & Paintbrushes, a plein air painting event like no other—set against the scenic backdrop of the New Hampshire SPCA farm in Stratham. Artists are invited to capture the charm of our beloved farm animals while supporting a great cause.
For just a $25 registration fee (donated to the NHSPCA), registered artists can check in at the NHSPCA starting at 8:00 AM and spend the day creating artwork on site. Completed pieces must be delivered to Thornhill Art Gallery in Portsmouth by no later than 4:00 PM.
That evening, celebrate creativity and compassion at our Reception and Art Sale, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the gallery. The event is free and open to the public, with light refreshments provided. All artwork will be available for purchase—40% of proceeds will benefit the NHSPCA, and 60% will go to the artist. Plus, don’t miss the chance to win an original painting by Robin Thornhill in our special raffle!
