This handsome boy has us scratching our heads. How is it possible that a dog as polite and sweet-natured as Broly has gone unnoticed for so long?

Weighing in at just under 55 pounds, Broly truly is the perfect balance of spunk and serenity. At seven years old, this guy is very much young at heart. He loves to take our volunteers for walks around our campus—and he never, ever passes up on the opportunity to stop by our fenced-in pen for a romp! While his bursts of energy might be a little surprising for a pup his age, he tires fairly quickly and will be ready to snuggle with you in no time.

When it comes to other dogs, we have found Broly to be a wonderful playmate. He has soft, wiggly body language and seems to really enjoy making new friends. The best part? Not only is he great at playing, but he’s also just as happy to simply hang out in the company of other dogs.

Broly has only been taught a few commands, but we imagine he’ll be a training dream. He’s incredibly food motivated and eager to please. We know he will want to be the dog of his family’s dreams—so grab some treats and get ready to show him the way!
