Eleven years old and still finds something worth wagging about in every single moment.

Daisey walks into a room and immediately makes it warmer. That’s the only way to describe it. She’s the kind of dog who greets you like you’ve just returned from a long voyage, who settles in beside you on the couch with the confidence of someone who has always belonged there (because she does).

She loves people. Loves other dogs. Loves kids. Loves her walks. And if you hand her a squeaky toy, she’ll light up in a way that makes you forget entirely you’re looking at a senior dog. That’s the thing about Daisey; there’s no slowing down happening here. She’s as spry as can be!

One thing potential adopters should know: Daisey has mild patellar luxation in her back legs (a common condition in Shih Tzus and other small breeds). It doesn’t affect how she moves and just needs routine monitoring to make sure it stays that way. Otherwise, she’s healthy, happy, and completely ready to spend her next chapter somewhere comfortable.

If your couch has room, your evenings could use a little more warmth, and you’ve been waiting for a dog who’s just an absolute ray of sunshine, Daisey is your girl!

Stop by and meet her. Our Adoption Center is located at 104 Portsmouth Avenue in Stratham, NH, and we are open from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed). Questions? Reach out to us at info@nhspca.org or call 603-772-2921 x 110.

This feature is brought to you by our generous Cool Cat Sponsor, DTC Lawyers. Join us for Paws Walk on Sunday, June 7 at Stratham Hill Park to help more animals like Daisey!
