Do you want students to learn about animal welfare and rescue? Are you teaching an animal unit that could culminate in a great field trip? Come to the New Hampshire SPCA! We offer amazing and educational tours of our 15-acre facility. Your group will get a special chance to see behind the scenes – learn how a shelter runs and leave with a ton of new knowledge.

Tours will lead you through our state-of-the-art adoption center, expansive campus and farm. You will see all our adoptable animals and learn about the day-to-day operations and best practices required to keep our animals safe, healthy and happy.

Note: Tour guests will need to navigate through rooms, doorways of different sizes and small spaces. Most spaces are accessible to walkers and wheelchairs.

Preschools, youth clubs, and adult organizations are just a sample of the many groups who love to organize a visit to our facility. Tours of our Adoption Center, farm and barn areas, and our newly expanded campus provide insight into the NHSPCA’s daily work of protecting and caring for a variety of animals. Participants on our tours learn firsthand the responsibilities of caring for pets and understand the needs and qualities of our animal friends. They also get to participate in a fun activity, like drawing a picture of their favorite adoptable animal as a “Pick of the Pack!” Group tours are offered Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday between 9am and 4pm. Currently, in-person tours are limited to a maximum of 12 guests and require masks when indoors, to adhere to Covid-19 safety requirements. Once you have submitted the registration form, a member of our staff will reach soon to schedule your visit and payment.

Refund/cancellation policy: It is not the NHSPCA’s policy to give refunds for cancellations. For events postponed due to illness or inclement weather, we will make all attempts to reschedule or provide a credit to use toward future programming.
