At 10 years old, this sweet senior may be in her golden years, but she still has so much love and affection to give. And at 81 pounds, she has a lot of it to share! Jennifer greets everyone she meets by locking eyes, tail wagging, and flashing a big goofy smile. It’s absolutely irresistible, and she knows it!

Jennifer would make the perfect cuddle buddy for anyone looking for a laid back companion to binge watch shows with. But don’t let her couch potato skills fool you, she also enjoys peaceful strolls around the neighborhood, taking in all the fresh air and interesting smells.

She’s known as the resident goofball around here, with a few hilarious quirks that never fail to make us smile. For instance, she absolutely hates the feeling of our dog pavilion floors on her paws. So much so that we sometimes have to lay down a towel runway to the door just to get her to go outside. Maybe she thinks she’s royalty? And honestly… she kind of is.

You may have noticed that Jennifer is carrying a bit of extra weight (shhh, we don’t want to hurt a lady’s feelings!). She’s looking for a person or family who can help her continue her weight loss journey with plenty of exercise and a healthy lifestyle.

While we don’t know if Jennifer has lived with other dogs before, she’s been calm, friendly, and non-reactive when meeting them here at the shelter, a promising sign for future doggy friendships.
