Are you looking for a connection like no other? It’s a not-so-well-kept secret around here that senior dogs are usually very well-versed in the art of friendship, loyalty and love… and when they find themselves homeless at a point in their lives when care, comfort, security mean so much, they’re extra grateful when they find that again.

If you’re a sucker for a silver face and golden heart, look no further than Henry and Roxie! Both of these 8-year-old cuties have experience with people of all ages, cats and other dogs (Roxie appears to be more comfortable with other dogs than Henry). They’re social, love to sniff everything they can get their noses on, and sometimes even get senior zoomies—and yes, it’s as cute as you’d imagine!

These two have been busy soaking up all the love our staff and volunteers will give them, but we know they deserve more. They’re available for adoption individually, but if a family was interested in adopting them as a pair, we have a very kind donor who has pledged to cover the second adoption fee.

Think you could be the perfect match for one or both of these oldies? We’d love to introduce you! Our Adoption Center will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day but Wednesdays (closed). We’re located at 104 Portsmouth Avenue in Stratham, NH. See you soon!

This Pet of the Week is brought to you by our generous Freezin’ for a Reason Sponsor, Jackson Lewis. Join us for the Doggie Paddle Plunge on Saturday, February 14 to help save more animals like Henry & Roxie!
