The New Hampshire SPCA is excited to announce that our Yappy Hour series, presented by Kurgo, will be back again this summer! Grab your pup and join us for the first in the series hosted by Smuttynose Brewery on Wednesday, May 23rd from 6:00- 8:00 p.m.
Each Yappy Hour is held at unique, local breweries around the Seacoast to help raise critically needed funds to supply food, medical care and a second chance at finding a forever home, for the thousands of animals that turn to the NHSPCA for help each year. Getting involved is as easy as showing up, having a beer and enjoying the evening! For every pint sold at each event, $1 will be donated to the shelter to help us ensure all the animals are getting the care they need. Awesome raffle items donated by Kurgo and some of your other favorite pet brands will be up for grabs at each event as well! Learn more about locations, dates and general event information here.
“Last summer, Yappy Hour proved to be a huge success with the popularity growing with each event,” said Megan Bickford, Special Events and Sponsorship Manager for the New Hampshire SPCA. “Our goal is to continue that momentum this year and offer exciting events for everyone to enjoy. Friends, raffles, beer and your dog; what could be better!”
Fun For Everyone
We encourage those who don’t have dogs to come out and join in the fun as well! Canine companions are welcome but not required to partake in this series, and there are sure to be some great dogs to meet!
Our Presenting Sponsor, Kurgo, as well as Wellpet, Bark Box, Kittery Trading Post, and Pet Life have donated raffle prizes ranging from dog themed gift baskets to car seat covers and more. 100% of the raffle ticket sales go to the New Hampshire SPCA. To make it even better, Kurgo donated custom bandanas which have the Yappy Hour logo and are for sale at each event with proceeds going to the animals!
