Nana is a 14 year old tabby house cat.  She was brought to the New Hampshire SPCA because her people (who had her since she was a kitten) could no longer take care of her due to their own medical issues.

The transition to a shelter was rough on Nana at first.  As you can imagine she was quite anxious and confused to have lost the only home she has ever known.

She had an upset tummy for days after arriving, but she’s feeling much better.   She’s currently staying in one of our quieter offices where she seems more comfortable.  You can tell that Nana has been well loved in her life by the way she’s happy to curl up on your lap.  She’s almost always purring. She’s chatty, but also enjoys her alone time.   Nana has successfully lived with other cats and dogs.    Do you have room in your house and heart for a sweet older girl looking for a home to live out her golden years?   Please email info@nhspca.org.   Like all the animals available for adoption at the New Hampshire SPCA, Nana is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on all her shots.

This Pet of the Week is brought to you by our generous Furball Friend Sponsor, Bridges Bros Movers .  Join us for Paws Walk, Sunday, June 5th at Stratham Hill Park and help save more animals like Pudding and Puff!
