Chachi (approximately 40 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in South Carolina. He was lucky enough to spend time in two Southern foster homes, and both homes would happily welcome him again. Chachi is house trained and has been working hard on his leash walking skills. He got along well with the dogs in his foster home - he was respectful to the poodle who asked him to stay away & very friendly & playful with the Lab who wanted to hang out with him. Chachi loves to play tug with his rope & stuffed toys and he also loves of all types of chew toys. He is a huge fan of snuggling on the couch or in the bed with you, and he is a blanket weasel who will bury under your blankets if allowed. This boy has a great appetite & is very food motivated, so his foster parents were able to teach him the "sit", "stay", & "watch me" commands during their brief time together. He is a gem of a dog who will be a fabulous addition to New England dog life!
If Chachi sounds like your dream dog, please stop by the Adoption Center's OPEN HOURS EVERY DAY EXCEPT WEDNESDAY from 11am to 4pm, or contact the NHSPCA at info@nhspca.org
