Australian Cattledog  | Male  | 2

Ray (approximately 41 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. This boy is an absolute doll who gets a bit anxious in new situations but acclimates well as he picks up the routine. For example, when he first arrived from Texas, Ray preferred hiding under his bed when in his kennel. After a day, though, he would greet us at the front of his kennel with a wagging tail & happy smile. He is ALWAYS sweet, but he is not super confident initially. Ray did well with the other dogs in the doggie play groups at his previous shelter, and he loves running around in the snow in our fenced-in play yard. Our boy loves toys, people, and attention. He was wonderful for his veterinary exam and thoroughly enjoyed eating the squeeze cheese that we used to reward him.
If you'd like to meet this darling boy, please stop by the Adoption Center's OPEN HOURS EVERY DAY EXCEPT WEDNESDAY from 11am to 4pm, or contact the NHSPCA at info@nhspca.org
