Labrador Retriever | Male | 4
Luka (approximately 48 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. He is reputed to be a Labrador Retriever/Husky mix and we can see traits from both breeds. This guy is smart, affectionate, active, and friendly. He definitely makes Husky-like noises when expressing his feelings, and he LOVES to play ball. Our handsome boy with the two different colored eyes appreciates the snow and we suspect he will be a big fan of water as well. Luka did well in the doggie playgroups in his Texas shelter - the active dogs looking to play really enjoyed him. He is alert but not rude when he sees another dog and has been known to play after a proper introduction. Luka would greatly appreciate an active home with lots of activities and routine, plus lots of affection.
If Luka sounds like the boy for you, please stop by the Adoption Center's OPEN HOURS EVERY DAY EXCEPT WEDNESDAY from 11am to 4pm, or contact the NHSPCA at info@nhspca.org
