Mixed / Unknown  | Male  | 0

Nick (approximately 27 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from a foster home in Texas. His foster mama reports that he is an active boy - possibly a Boxer mix - and will need a person or family who want to be active with him. He is loyal, sweet, athletic, super intelligent, and a wiggler. Nick would love someone that will show him the big wide world & assist him with his passion for learning. He adores clicker training & would love to continue it in his new household - this boy has mastered 9 commands already! Nick is interested in hiking, trick training, agility, hiking, and enrichment puzzles. He did well with the younger dogs in his foster home - the senior dogs tolerated him, but he was too active for them to enjoy. He is working on his leash walking & enjoys carrying his leash in his mouth when he walks. Nick is also working hard on potty training and had his very first day with no accidents in the house the day before he left for NH. He should do very well with consistency & positive reinforcement as he responds well to both. Nick is also a snuggler who is hoping for someone who will let him sleep in bed with him. We suspect that Nick will be 50-60 pounds when full grown, but this is not an exact science, so please take the estimate with a grain of salt.
